E se là fuori fossero stati più onesti, meno avidi di soldi e di potere, avrei conosciuto la verità del pianeta, vecchio di milioni d'anni .. magari.

Di fatto le radiazioni che arrivano sulla Terra sono stabili e gli scienziati augurano sempre un clima fisso. Negli ultimi 10.000 anni ha permesso la costituzione della civiltà umana con un'agricoltura solida , grazie a meteo inalterati.
Si calcola che un calo di energia solare potrebbe causare un irrilevante -0,25% oppure -0,0 8% di radiazione sulla nostra superficie.
Le fasi di raffreddamento durano per alcuni decenni, poi si torna al calore usuale.

Buon senso e lealtà vorrebbero che scienza, politica, media aspettassero a introdurre radicali misure all'evoluzione tecnologica e sociale, con il rischio di dirottare , anche intenzionalmente, ingenti risorse naturali e finanziarie a favore di alcuni e a danno dei più.
