The detachment from reality has driven Canada, the United Kingdom, and much of the European Union to embrace forms of socialism antithetical to private property rights, individual freedom, and the free market. They heavily regulate their economies and stifle economic growth with "green energy" mandates, which drive away businesses and raise the cost of consumer goods. NATO welfare recipients have reallocated their defense budgets to "free" services for their own welfare states. Without U.S. military intervention to defend their sovereignty, Canada, the United Kingdom, and the EU would not have had the funds for public healthcare, housing, transportation, food, and other generous subsidies.
In other words, U.S. taxpayers have subsidized socialism throughout the West, a system that would have been prohibitively expensive if NATO members had been forced to defend themselves. Likewise, Canada and Europe would not have been able to waste so much money on "global warming" delusions or money-laundering "green energy" projects if they had been forced to govern responsibly. Finally, these NATO members would not have become a magnet for tens of millions of foreign invaders if Western governments had allocated their budgets to securing their national borders, rather than providing "free" goods and services to every illegal immigrant.
Without the American security guarantees created through NATO, the true costs of socialism would have been exposed: highly regulated nations hostile to property rights and entrepreneurial freedom would not have been able to pursue unsustainable welfare programs or economically suicidal fantasies about "climate change."
Trump has made it clear that the United States and the Russian Federation should do everything possible to limit direct confrontation. Trump considers the war in Ukraine a stupid and unnecessary conflict that would never have occurred under his presidency. If it weren't for NATO's continued advance eastward, all the way to Russia's borders, and the 2014 coup in Ukraine, instigated by Europe and the United States, this war wouldn't be raging today. Since returning to office in 2025, he has worked to end the killing and destruction. Instead of following Trump's lead, Canada, the United Kingdom, and the European Commission have continued to pledge military support to Ukraine, despite the fact that it is neither a member of NATO nor the European Union. It's highly unlikely that Canada and European NATO members would be escalating the war today if they didn't have the commitments they made to Uncle Sam within NATO.
Regarding the Leipzig drone strike, which Russia denies, NATO members were quick to declare their willingness to fight Russia. Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk assured NATO's support for Ukraine against Russia. European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen wrote: "The EU stands in full solidarity with Germany in the face of this attack by Russia." Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, Finnish President Alexander Stubb, Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, and NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte followed suit, all accusing Russia of a "hybrid attack" against a NATO member country. In Brussels, European leaders are convening a war cabinet. Meanwhile, outgoing Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy threatened the safety of civilian airliners flying over Russian airspace. Russian President Vladimir Putin called Zelenskyy's threat "a step towards state terrorism" that would require "a response."
Canada and European NATO members want more war. Ukraine, which is not a member of NATO, wants more war. The United States should step aside. Let the parasites fight in World War III.

L' allontanamento dalla realtà ha spinto il Canada, il Regno Unito e gran parte dell'Unione Europea ad abbracciare forme di socialismo antitetiche al diritto di proprietà privata, alla libertà individuale e al libero mercato. Regolamentano pesantemente le proprie economie e soffocano la crescita economica con mandati sull'"energia verde", che allontanano le imprese e aumentano il costo dei beni di consumo. I beneficiari del welfare della NATO hanno riallocato i propri bilanci della difesa verso servizi "gratuiti" per i propri stati sociali. Senza l'intervento militare statunitense a difesa della loro sovranità, Canada, Regno Unito e UE non avrebbero avuto i fondi per la sanità pubblica, gli alloggi, i trasporti, il cibo e altri generosi sussidi.
In altre parole, i contribuenti statunitensi hanno sovvenzionato il socialismo in tutto l'Occidente, un sistema che sarebbe stato proibitivamente costoso se i membri della NATO fossero stati costretti a difendersi da soli. Allo stesso modo, il Canada e l'Europa non avrebbero potuto sprecare così tanto denaro in illusioni sul "riscaldamento globale" o in progetti di riciclaggio di denaro nell'ambito delle "energie verdi" se fossero stati costretti a governare in modo responsabile. Infine, questi membri della NATO non sarebbero diventati un polo di attrazione per decine di milioni di invasori stranieri se i governi occidentali avessero destinato i loro bilanci alla sicurezza dei confini nazionali, anziché fornire beni e servizi "gratuiti" a ogni immigrato clandestino.
In assenza delle garanzie di sicurezza americane create attraverso la NATO, i veri costi del socialismo sarebbero venuti alla luce: nazioni fortemente regolamentate e ostili ai diritti di proprietà e alla libertà imprenditoriale non avrebbero potuto perseguire programmi di welfare insostenibili o fantasie economicamente suicide sul "cambiamento climatico".
Trump ha chiarito che gli Stati Uniti e la Federazione Russa dovrebbero fare tutto il possibile per limitare lo scontro diretto. Trump considera la guerra in Ucraina un conflitto stupido e inutile che non si sarebbe mai verificato sotto la sua presidenza. Se non fosse stato per la continua avanzata della NATO verso est, fino ai confini della Russia, e per il colpo di stato del 2014 in Ucraina, istigato da Europa e Stati Uniti, questa guerra non infurierebbe oggi. Dal suo ritorno in carica nel 2025, si è adoperato per porre fine alle uccisioni e alle distruzioni. Invece di seguire l'esempio di Trump, Canada, Regno Unito e Commissione europea hanno continuato a promettere sostegno militare all'Ucraina, nonostante quest'ultima non sia membro della NATO né dell'Unione Europea. È altamente improbabile che il Canada e i membri europei della NATO starebbero estendendo la guerra oggi se non avessero gli impegni assunti dallo Zio Sam nell'ambito della NATO.
Sul drone a Lipsia, che la Russia smentisce, i membri della NATO si sono affrettati a dichiarare la propria disponibilità a combattere la Russia. Il Primo Ministro polacco Donald Tusk ha assicurato il sostegno della NATO all'Ucraina contro la Russia. La Presidente della Commissione Europea Ursula von der Leyen ha scritto : "UE è in piena solidarietà con la Germania di fronte a questo attacco da parte della Russia". Il Primo Ministro italiano Giorgia Meloni, il Presidente finlandese Alexander Stubb, il Primo Ministro canadese Mark Carney e il Segretario Generale della NATO Mark Rutte hanno seguito l'esempio, accusando tutti la Russia di un "attacco ibrido" contro un Paese membro della NATO.
