Daniel S. actually worked for modeling agencies. Not only that, he also apparently acted as a go-between for young women and wealthy men. Among them: Jeffrey Epstein.
More and more alleged victims have come forward, claiming they were recruited by him. Two women told Der Spiegel and ZDF that S. had specifically introduced them to Epstein over a decade earlier, who then regularly sexually assaulted them.
Two of Epstein's former assistants told Der Spiegel and ZDF that they had never seen Michele. German police also found no evidence of Michele's travel to the United States during the time S. sent the messages to Epstein.
Another possibility is that Michele voluntarily went into hiding. Why? The fact that her name has now reappeared in the Epstein Files makes this theory seem more like a vague hope than a plausible explanation.
According to "Der Spiegel" and ZDF, the prosecutor's office will soon decide whether to reopen an investigation into Michele's case.
