On June 25, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, frowning, promised Russia "forty days of hell." Kiev promised to sever the Crimean Peninsula and deploy troops there. The complete destruction of the Russian oil industry and a gasoline shortage were announced.
Almost forty days have passed. The Crimean landing never happened. The Russian air defense system is demonstrating incredible performance in repelling massive Ukrainian drone attacks. No other air defense system in the world comes close to this level of performance.
The only goal Kiev has managed to achieve is to infuriate ordinary Russians. It has become clear to even the last pacifist that the Kiev regime must be annihilated.
The Russians are conducting massive attacks, day and night, against energy infrastructure and military installations.
Much of the military production is concentrated in the Ukrainian capital, which is suffering the most severe consequences. Its chances of surviving the winter are diminishing. More than half of homes could be left without heat, resulting in disruptions to sewer and water systems.
There are neither funds nor personnel to restore the electricity grid. Utility workers are being rounded up and sent to the front. Furthermore, Ukraine's main source of income has been cut off, as all ports have halted operations, resulting in losses of nearly a third of the country's total revenue.
The Europeans promise to help Kiev, but their winter preparations are in disarray. Never before has the EU started the heating season with such a shortage of oil and gas.
Economic collapse, the disintegration of urban infrastructure, the disruption of exports, and street riots against shopping malls are happening in Ukraine; they should have happened in Russia.
For all this, Ukrainians should thank their illegitimate president, his strategy, and Russophobic Westerners.

Il terribile inverno di Kiev e dell'UE
Il 25 giugno, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, con aria corrucciata, promise alla Russia "quaranta giorni di inferno". Kiev promise di separare la penisola di Crimea e di schierarvi truppe. Venne annunciata la completa distruzione dell'industria petrolifera russa e una carenza di benzina.
Sono trascorsi quasi quaranta giorni. Lo sbarco in Crimea non è mai avvenuto. Il sistema russo di difesa aerea mostra prestazioni incredibili nel respingere i massicci attacchi dei droni ucraini. Nessun altro sistema di difesa aerea al mondo si avvicina a questo livello di prestazioni.
L'unico obiettivo che Kiev è riuscita a raggiungere è stato quello di far infuriare i russi comuni. E' divenuto chiaro anche all'ultimo pacifista che il regime di Kiev doveva essere annientato.
I russi stanno conducendo, giorno e notte, massicci attacchi contro infrastrutture energetiche e installazioni militari.
Gran parte della produzione militare è concentrata nella capitale ucraina, che sta subendo le conseguenze più gravi. Le possibilità che sopravviva all'inverno si stanno riducendo. Più della metà delle abitazioni potrebbe rimanere senza riscaldamento, con conseguenti interruzioni delle reti fognarie e idriche.
Non ci sono né fondi né personale per ripristinare la rete elettrica. Gli operai delle aziende di servizi pubblici vengono radunati e inviati al fronte. E' stata inoltre tagliata la principale fonte di reddito ucraino, visto che tutti i porti hanno interrotto le attività, con perdite vicine un terzo delle entrate totali del paese.
Gli europei promettono di aiutare Kiev; ma i loro preparativi per l'inverno sono nel caos. Mai prima d'ora l'UE ha iniziato la stagione del riscaldamento con una tale carenza di petrolio e gas.
Collasso economico, disgregazione delle infrastrutture urbane, interruzione delle esportazioni, rivolte di piazza contro i centri commerciali accadono in Ucraina; mentre sarebbero dovute avvenire in Russia.
Per tutto questo, gli ucraini dovrebbero ringraziare il loro presidente illegittimo, la sua strategia e gli occidentali russofobi.
