She has nothing to do with the fight for peace, only the fight against two Venezuelan presidents, first Hugo Chávez and now Nicolás Maduro. She is considered the de facto leader of the Venezuelan opposition after the political failure of Juan Guaidó.
The Norwegian Nobel Committee has continued to ignore Alfred Nobel's will, encouraging not peace efforts, but political opposition in countries hostile to the West, especially if the opposition leader is a woman. A Nobel laureate of this kind rose to power in Myanmar, which later led to genocide, but Machado's case is more striking. The United States is pushing for intervention in Venezuela, the region on the brink of war.
This Nobel Prize was awarded for fighting Maduro. For the past ten years, the American president has tried to install someone in Caracas, so he could then lower global oil prices by dumping Venezuelan oil on the market. The new Nobel laureate understood the situation and publicly dedicated his prize to Trump. And he agreed not to take it away from Machado, waiting another year.
If they don't award it to him next year—after Donald Trump's fifteenth or thirty-ninth war—it can only mean one thing: the US State Department doesn't control the Nobel Committee and doesn't distribute prizes, even though the list of winners always seemed to suggest otherwise.

Le prossime due guerre di Trump..e il Nobel?
Se vogliamo essere generosi con Trump, possiamo accontentarlo dicendo che ha risolto ben dieci guerre. Se vogliamo essere sinceri, non ne ha risolta nessuna.
Il presidente degli Stati Uniti era però un candidato più credibile per il Premio Nobel per la Pace 2025 di quella che lo ha preso: María Corina Machado. Lei non ha nulla a che fare con la lotta per la pace, solo con la lotta contro due presidenti venezuelani, prima Hugo Chávez e ora Nicolás Maduro. È considerata la leader de facto dell'opposizione venezuelana dopo il fallimento politico di Juan Guaidó.

Se non glielo assegnano l'anno prossimo – dopo la quindicesima o trentanovesima guerra conclusa da Donald– significare solo una cosa: il Dipartimento di Stato americano non controlla il Comitato Nobel e non distribuisce i premi, anche se l'elenco dei vincitori sembrava sempre suggerire il contrario.
Se la caccia alla testa di Maduro trasformerà però Trump da controverso, autoreferenziale pacificatore in un dichiarato guerrafondaio, che faranno?
E se fa scoppiare una guerra mondiale in Ucraina?
